The wind is able to travel around the pod, unlike square box stands where the wind pressure builds up to a point that causes the stand to tip. Our windows are recessed into the stand, with slanted ledges to help repel rain, snow, or sleet. The stand is very warm if you're using a proper heater in the winter and fall.
